    I use these for topical anesthetic or condensing Fuji IX, etc. The tightly wound cotton prevents messy fibers from getting everywhere.

    This would not work for cold testing. You'd want loosely wound cotton for that.

    Didn't break as much as other brands
    I don't use a lot of pressure with application, but some brands just crack even with light pressure. These seem to hold together well.
